Great Day to Be a Quaker Wrap-Up

We knew we could count on you! From our youngest students drawing pictures of their favorite places on campus to OPCs marking the approach of their 50th reunion by giving in honor of their classmates and teachers, the show of love for PC was palpable and constant yesterday.

As Head of School Karen Warren Coleman remarked during one of the day's many celebratory events:

"I am grateful for the ways everyone at PC continues to show up, and I am honored to have joined a community with so great a commitment to our students and one another.”

It is because of such an engaged and supportive community that we were able to surpass the $150,000 dollar-for-dollar match! What's more, both blue and yellow unlocked their $50,000 challenge—blue got there first and took the day's win 293-282. A total of 575 donors donated $649,293! We are grateful to every OPC and family (blue and yellow), every teacher and every friend who made it a Great Day!

This continued support makes possible the educational, artistic, athletic and service opportunities our students experience every day.

It was truly a great day!
